Wright Importing is a Gold Coast based Australian business developing its own range of premium homewares, outdoor goods, accessories and travel essentials. Every product is made to our own specification, direct with the factory, and sold under our own brands on Amazon in the United States.
We are not an import agency or a sourcing service. We import exclusively for our own brands, which means we carry the product risk ourselves and we take responsibility for the compliance on every shipment. Our focus is on build quality, honest landed cost and getting the paperwork right before goods move.

How We Work
The five step process we follow for every product we bring to market, from concept through to delivery.
We validate demand and competition before anything else, then define the specification, materials and target landed cost.
We approach factories direct with a written specification and request FOB quotes, so every quote can be compared fairly.
Pre-production samples are reviewed and signed off. An independent inspection is carried out before the balance is paid.
We arrange freight and customs clearance, either direct or on delivered duty paid (DDP) terms. Tariff classification is confirmed before goods ship, not after they land.
Goods are delivered into fulfilment centres in the United States, ready to sell under our own brand.
Peace of Mind
We would rather slow a shipment down than get the paperwork wrong.
HTS classification is confirmed before goods ship, including Section 301 and Section 232 exposure, so duty is a known number rather than a surprise on arrival. Where a shipment moves on DDP terms, we agree the classification and the declared value with the forwarder in advance rather than leaving it to the factory.
Products are specified to meet the US standards that apply to their category, including CPSC requirements where relevant. Independent pre-shipment inspection is standard on every order, and materials are specified in writing rather than left to the factory.
We compare factories on FOB so freight is never buried in the unit price, then choose the shipping route on its own merits. Duty, freight and fulfilment fees are modelled before we commit to an order. A product that only works on optimistic numbers does not get made.
